Gold explorer focused on a portfolio of projects in Queensland. Golden Cup: A previously operating open pit gold mine that the company seeks to restart production from. Recent near surface drilling returned up to 9m @ 4.72 g/t gold and the company has declared a maiden JORC resource of 30koz gold. Resource expansion drilling to follow. Big Rush: A previously operating open pit gold mine with on-site impoundment dam and heap leach facilities. The company has completed initial drilling in late 2019 which returned assays including 28m @ 2.51g/t gold and 24m @ 3.99g/t gold. A maiden JORC gold resource of 47koz has been announced with further drilling planned across the project’s 4 pits. Camel Creek: A previously mining gold project consisting of 30 individuals near surface (and within 25m of surface) pits across 4km of historical workings. Previous drilling assays include 22m @ 2.94g/t gold. Mineralization beneath the pits across the 4km strike is untested. Great Northern has recently entered into a JV with Gold Explorer Pty Ltd on tenements around the company’s Camel Creek and Golden Cup mines. The new grounds include historical gold mines and targets. Top 20 shareholders hold 45%.
