Leigh Creek Energy Limited

Leigh Creek Energy Limited (LCK) is an emerging energy company focussed on developing its Leigh Creek Energy Project (LCEP), in northern South Australia. The LCEP sits within the existing, but now dis-used, Leigh Creek Coalfield and will develop deep resources that are unable to be accessed by conventional open-cut mining. Energy will be produced from the resource that is no longer economic to mine using a process known as in-situ gasification, or ISG. The ISG process converts coal from its solid state into its gaseous form.
