Pacific American Holdings Limited is focused on the production, development and exploration of metallurgical coal and alternative energy assets. The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary Pacific American Coal, has a 303 million tonne JORC resource at its flagship Elko Coking Coal Project. The Elko Coking Coal Project is located in the Crowsnest Coalfield of the East Kootenay Coal Basin in British Columbia, Canada. Coal from the Elko region has been tested and confirmed to contained coking properties that are sought after by South East Asian steel mills. In addition to the metallurgical coal business, the company has identified a significant opportunity in alternate energy projects in the Pacific Region and entered into a joint venture agreement with a leading Austrian hydropower turbine manufacturer Global Hydro Energy GmbH.
