Security Matters Limited (SMX) uses a patented chemical-based hidden “barcode” system and blockchain records to create digital records of physical objects. Project focuses include: 1. Collaboration with BASF SE - SMX is collaborating with BASF, a leading German chemical producer to jointly develop recycling solutions 2. Collaboration with The Perth Mint - a signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with The Perth Mint to create a mine-to-marketplace ethical gold supply chain assurance solution leveraging SMX’s barcode system. Pending regulatory approval, the initiative will be named trueGold with a planned full launch for Q1 2021. 3. Joint venture (JV) with Global Bevco - the joint venture company known as Security Matters Beverages (SMX - B) is designed to complete the development and commercialisation of SMX’s “barcode” system as a solution for anti-counterfeit and adulteration in the wine industry. The company ownership is split equally between Global Bevco and Security Matters (50/50).
