Westgold Resources Limited's (WGX) key objective is to build itself as a major player in the Australian gold sector as a pure-play gold producer. Westgold currently owns three operating gold projects with a fourth under refurbishment. The four processing facilities have a combined 5.5 million tones per annum treatment capacity. All are located in the prolific gold production belts of Western Australia. Westgold's three operations currently in production are Higginsville Gold Operation in the Norseman region of Western Australia, South Kalgoorlie Operations in the Kalgoorlie region of Western Australia and Central Murchison Gold Project in the Murchison region of Western Australia.
